Womankind can’t win a fight based on violence. The alpha-male system has the upper hand on that–and it’s the opposite of what we want, anyway. But that doesn’t mean we have to be passive victims, raging into the storm.

We have some things today that our foremothers did not.

We have the vote, some social protections and, perhaps most importantly, economic leverage.
